Can I ask all members to remain vigilent whilst fishing any of our waters. Before you fish any peg, please double check the margin for any signs of nets or fixed lines.

This morning at Brookwood Ponds I found the following. It appears to have been snapped up as there is no hook however was found close to the waters edge. The line trailed from the bank to a nearby tree also Indicating it had been snapped close to the water.

Could be kids fooling around with some line or we could have the visitors back from before who used the same method to catch and remove fish in carrier bags🤦

It's not the clearest photo and it's not the strongest stick however there is alot of line and appears to be a very high breaking strain.

Please keen an eye out and notify us straight away if you see anything.
