GWP update 30/11/2024

From midnight tonight 30th Nov, Goldsworth Park Lake will be open again to fishing.

Members and persons needing day tickets can begin to fish in the usual way.

This update follows club run tests being completed and the numerous levels in the water being stable. With regards to the term levels, this includes other variants and not just dissolved oxygen.

Please note - any pre-baiting will not be allowed and anglers are reminded to be considerate when using bait during the session. All other club rules regarding use of baits and the amounts used per session still stand.

If any angler sees anything unusual with regards to fish activity or behaviour, please inform the club ASAP.

This is a combined committee decision with regards to re -opening and pre-baiting ect.
