BROOKWOOD PONDS OPEN FOR ... FISHING!!

The GPAC season has now reset, having started on the 1st April. Brookwood is open for business as it has been for months now.

With the fish kills from last year due to oxygen levels, along with the cormorants, Brookwood became a pretty sorry state of affairs.

However .....contrary to terrible weather, a harsh winter and continued cormorantproblems, big weights of fish are now being caught at Brookwood with carp making a regular appearance.

The floating fish refuges islands seem to be helping with the smaller fish however we're still loosing the odd one.

Please remember all anglers will need a season ticket or day ticket to fish any of our waters. This includes evenings too.
