Goldsworth Park Lake

2018 season once again proved to be very successful with some great catches on our Goldsworth lake; big bags of Bream reported to over 100lb and some very big Tench pushing the 10lb mark.

With the new stocking in 2017 we are seeing good signs of the smaller tench and chub, we introduced, growing and settling in well. The carp fishing has also been excellent throughout the year with many of our large residents making an appearance and, again with the introduction of the 36 hand picked beautiful mirrors from VS Fisheries, has boosted your chances of a bend in the rod with a fast growing hard fighting cracker.

You will also note many of the platforms round the lake have been refurbished and some tree work has been undertaken making Goldsworth Lake a joy to fish.

Brookwood Ponds

Our ponds at Brookwood have gone from strength to strength, pond 4 now has log platforms making fishing much more comfortable. The fishing on this popular little pond - noted for it's big roach and mixed bags of bream, tench and crucians - has become the place to be for some all action sport topped with the chance of hooking one of the ponds hard fighting carp.

This pond also plays host to our annual Lets Go Fishing event which is held each year throughout the month of August. Our 2019 event will be held every Thursday starting from the 1st of the month, details for how to book will be posted on this site nearer the time.

Pond 2 is our little gem of a fishery has consistently fished well throughout 2018, and the start of this year, with mixed bags of 20lb plus common. This pretty pond, with it's reeded margins and lilly beds, also has a good head of carp - not monsters but these beauties do run to mid doubles.

There are, as with pond 4, roach to over a pound and plenty of quality rudd backed up with lots of chunky skimmers. There are also tench and crucian and, despite most of the perch which tend to be small, there are a few whoppers. They are, however, hard to locate particularly in warm weather.
